Welcome to Okatee
Thanks for using Okatee ("Services"). The Services consist of a Chrome browser extension for metadata removal from email attachments. The Services are provided by Okatee Corp. ("Okatee"), located at 175 Bloor St E Suite 1800, Toronto, ON M4W 3R8, Canada.
This is a binding contract. Please read it carefully before using our Services.
1. Nature of the Software
Okatee is a Chrome extension for metadata removal from email attachments. Most processing occurs locally in your browser. For some document types, files may be transmitted to Okatee servers for metadata cleaning only. When transmitted, data is encrypted in transit, held only in memory during processing, and discarded immediately afterward. We do not store or retain any data. Okatee does not persist any user data, documents, or file contents.
2. No Warranties; Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OKATEE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE OKATEE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LIABILITIES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. YOU FURTHER AGREE NOT TO SUE OR BRING ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING AGAINST OKATEE FOR ANY SUCH CLAIMS.
3. No Refunds
All license purchases are final. Okatee does not provide refunds for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the Services, change of mind, or discontinued use.
4. License and Use
The Services are licensed, not sold. You may use the Services only in accordance with this Agreement. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Services.
